Welcome

The mission of Duke’s Chapel UMC is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

The vision for Duke’s Chapel UMC includes:

· A vision for a church that exhibits the love of Jesus Christ for all persons, both inside and outside of our community;

· A vision for a church where no one is left behind, and where spiritual nurture and Bible teaching is available for every age group;

· A vision for a church where children are valued and given a prominent place in our worship, our Sunday school, and our special events;

· A vision for a church where children participate in ministry to the elderly;

· A vision for a church where older people are valued, and encouraged to pass on their wisdom, their knowledge, and their experience of the Christian life;

· A vision for a church where we strive to live and teach that Christ is present and active in the whole of life, not only on Sunday mornings.
